Are there uses for the cards other than business cards? We thought you’d never ask. There’s virtually no end to what you can do with our booklets. Think Portfolios. Brochures. Coupons. Tickets. Mini-catalogs. Even calling Cards. So let your imagination run wild. And large quantities are not a problem. If you’d like to order more than 500 books at a time, we’re glad to help. Do all orders have to be placed online? Mini, Large and Ready Booklet orders can be placed online. In the case of our Mighty Booklets, you’ll need to upload your files to our FTP site for your order to be processed. For more information, please refer to the instructions that accompanied the Mighty Booklet templates. If you are having a problem placing your order online, you can contact our Customer Service Department at customerservice@shineboxprint.com or call us at 602.476.2386, Monday thru Friday, 8AM – 5PM MST.

How long will it take to receive my order? Generally speaking, your order of Mini, Large or Mighty Booklets will be processed, printed and shipped in one to three business days. Depending on which shipping option you choose, you should receive your order between one and seven business days after it has shipped. For your convenience, we notify you via email when your order has shipped and provide you with a tracking number.
If your order consists only of Ready Booklets, your booklets will usually ship within one to two days. -
What if I want a quantity larger than 500 Booklets? We’re not going to fight you on this one. If you’d like to place an order that is larger than 500 Booklets or 10,000 cards, please contact our Customer Service Department at customerservice@shineboxprint.com or call us at 602.476.2386 and we’ll help you facilitate your orders.

Why isn’t my file uploading? First, check to make sure you have downloaded the appropriate template and followed the provided instructions. Most uploading problems are caused by an incorrect file format or size. Remember our templates have bleed built into them. There is no need to extend your artwork past the document size or to use crop marks. Also, make sure you have saved your files as high resolution .PDF files using the [PDF/X-1a:2001] setting. Why can’t I access my shopping cart? New Question This is usually an easy fix. Try logging out of your account, clearing the cache in your browser and refreshing the page.

Can I have multiple products in my shopping cart? You sure can. Once you’ve successfully uploaded and approved your artwork for your first product, you will be able to either go back and add another product or continue to checkout. When you do check out, you will be able to see all of your products in your shopping cart, select your quantities for each version and your shipping method for the entire order. There is no limit to the number of products you can order at one time. Can I make changes to my artwork after I have uploaded my files? Once you’ve approved and submitted your order, it goes directly into our print queue. If you realize that you’ve made a mistake after uploading your files, contact our Customer Service Department immediately at customerservice@shineboxprint.com or call us at 602-476-2386. We will do everything we can to cancel your order. However, if more than 24-hours have passed since you uploaded your files, we cannot guarantee that your order will not be printed. Once your order has printed, you are responsible for payment in full. After uploading your files, carefully check your digital composite proofs before proceeding to check out.

Can I come back to complete my order? Yes. If you have created an account and logged in, we will keep your work session intact for up to seven days. And as a courtesy to you, we will notify you via email in five days to remind you that you have a pending order.

How do I reorder cards? As a courtesy to our customers, we archive uploaded files for a period of 30 days. If you wish to re-order your cards, and it has been less than 30 days since your previous order, simply contact our Customer Service Department at customerservice@shineboxprint.com or call us at 602.476.2386, Monday thru Friday, 8AM – 5PM MST and we will retrieve your files, place your order and email you a link so you can complete your transaction with us.

What if I am unsatisfied with the product I received? Shinebox Print makes every effort to ensure that you are satisfied with your order. However, if you are unsatisfied, you may contact our Customer Service department at customerservice@shineboxprint.com to inquire about having your order re-printed or receiving a refund. Please type “Attention Customer Service” in the subject line. Before you inquire about a refund please make sure you carefully review our Refund Policy.

What if I am ordering business cards for multiple employees? New Question Funny you should ask. We offer a generous discount to companies and organizations ordering business cards for more than 10 employees. Please visit our Preferred Rate page for more information.
Shipping

What shipping options do you offer, and how much do they cost? For our Mini, Large and Mighty Booklets, Shinebox Print offers Ground, 2nd Day Air, and Overnight shipping via FedEx for domestic orders. Ready Booklets, or any order smaller than 10 Booklets will ship USPS.
Ground shipments in the continental U.S. may take anywhere from 2 to 6 business days to arrive. We also offer International shipping via the United States Postal Service – Express Mail International. Once shipped, international orders typically take 6 to 10 business days to arrive, depending on your location.
In all cases, we’ll notify you via email when your order has been shipped. If your order is for Mini, Large or Mighty Booklets, this email will contain your tracking number so you can track the status of your shipment.

Our certified Affiliates have the necessary talent, tools and experience to help you with all aspects of your design. What if my design is Portrait orientation, not Landscape? Not a problem. Simply design everything right-side-up and rotate your artwork 90 degrees (make sure it’s not upside down). We suggest you rotate your artwork before you export or save as a PDF/X-1a:2001 file. Visit our Help section for more information and to view thumbnail illustrations of how to set up your artwork.

What file formats do you support for uploaded files? Our site only accepts high-resolution .PDF files. After you have designed your artwork, be sure to save or export your .PDF files using the [PDF/X-1a:2001] setting. This Adobe Preset ensures your artwork is saved with the highest resolution quality. It also eliminates color, font, and trapping variables that may lead to printing problems.
Printing Process

What type of printing process do you use? We use digital, four-color printing technology designed to deliver outstanding color quality at a cost much lower than conventional offset printing. We strive to consistently deliver the industry standard in “pleasing color” and make any reasonable adjustment to ensure that colors in provided files print as accurately as possible. However, because of the complexities of color-matching across devices, we cannot match colors exactly as they might appear on your computer monitor, printer or similar proofing device.

What does full color 4/4 or CMYK mean? CMYK is short for Cyan-Magenta-Yellow-BlacK. By mixing these four process colors in varying proportions, almost any color imaginable may be printed. CMYK—alternatively known as four-color or 4/4 printing—is the standard color model used in digital and offset printing for full-color documents.

What type of paper stock do you use? All booklets print on high-quality, bright white, 100# uncoated cover. This stock is calibrated specifically for our presses and allows for maximum ink coverage, outstanding color quality and a smooth, durable finish. This environmentally friendly stock consists of 50% recycled and 10% post-consumer waste paper. If you would prefer to use an alternative stock, please contact us at customerservice@shineboxprint.com. We’ll do our best to accommodate your needs for special orders.

Can I proof my cards prior to their being printed? In most cases, yes. After you have successfully uploaded your artwork for Mini or Large Booklets, the next screen will allow you to view digital composite proofs in real time. You will be able to click on the thumbnails to view them larger. It is critical that you check this digital proof very carefully. You will be asked to approve the digital proof prior to continuing. If you are unsatisfied with the digital proof, you’ll have the opportunity to go back, adjust your artwork and upload it again.
If you are ordering Mighty Booklets, you’ll have to send us your files via FTP. For this reason, online proofs are not available for Mighty Booklets. However, we will gladly send you a hard proof of your Mighty Booklet for a fee of $35 USD. Please refer to the instructions for the Mighty Booklet in our Get Started section. -
